Cooking Instructions for Pan-Fried Dumplings
(Cooking times will vary depending on your specific kitchen appliances. Always monitor your food closely and use a cooking thermometer to check internal temperatures reach at least 165 degrees F.)
PAN-FRIED TURNIP CAKE & TARO CAKE
Cooking Video

- Cut turnip or taro cake into desired size and remove from tray.
- Heat a pan on medium/high heat with light oil.
- Place turnip or taro cake into pan. After a few minutes when cake is a desired golden brown, flip over in the pan and repeat cooking for the other side.

PAN-FRIED BEEF DUMPLINGS
- Bring steamer to a boil.
- Place Beef Dumplings on rack, leaving space between each piece.
- Steam for about 8 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick pan on high heat with light oil. Place dumplings on pan for about 1 minute or until a golden brown color. Flip over and repeat for the other side.

SHRIMP & PORK/VEGGIE POTSTICKERS

- Heat a non-stick pan on high heat with light oil. Place potstickers in pan and check that there is a small amount of oil on the bottom of each dumpling.
- With heat still on high, add 4 cups of boiling water to the pan (for 10” pan). This will cover the dumplings about half way up with water. Adjust water amount depending on pan size.
- Place a glass lid on the pan.
- Cook for approximately 10-12 minutes until almost all water has boiled away. If water has boiled away in under 10 minutes, add more water to increase cooking time.
- Just before water is completely dry, add a small amount of oil to coat the bottoms of potstickers.
- Turn down to medium heat and pan-fry dumplings until bottom is golden brown color.
鮮蝦豬肉/蔬菜煎餃
- 少油加熱不粘鍋1分鐘。將煎餃放在鍋中,檢查每個煎餃底部是否有少量油。
